Airport taxis
İzmir Airport Taxi: Ranks, Meter Fares and Journey Times
İzmir Airport taxi ranks are outside the arrivals exits of both the Domestic and the International Terminal at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport, around the clock. Fares run on the meter — a starting fare plus a charge per kilometre — and the airport taxi rank can be reached on +90 232 274 20 75.
How airport taxis work
Walk out of the arrivals hall and you will find the rank directly outside. Taxis in İzmir charge by the meter: a starting fare plus a rate per kilometre, set by the city. The current tariff is linked from the airport’s transport page. Make sure the meter is switched on when you set off, and keep some Turkish lira handy in case card payment is not possible.
To book or ask about a taxi, call the airport rank on +90 232 274 20 75.

Taxi or private transfer?
For short hops into the city, a taxi from the rank is simple. For longer trips — Kuşadası, Çeşme, Didim or Pamukkale — many travellers prefer to know the cost in advance: a private transfer booked through go4transfers.com has a fixed price per vehicle, flight tracking and a driver waiting with a name sign. It is also reassuring on a late arrival or with a family and lots of luggage.
